📢 Big news for our schools! The McAllen ISD Board of Trustees has called for a $335 million bond election on May 2, 2026. To keep the voting process straightforward, the entire $335 million proposal will appear as one single proposition on the ballot. While the team did not win the TxCAN Pitch, we are incredibly proud of this accomplishment. Out of 20 teams, only 3 were selected to present at the TACAC conference, and Lamar was the only campus-level team represented.
The team received strong feedback and encouragement from other ISDs, affirming the impact of our college-going culture and model. 💙
